Starcamper 8 is a lightweight, easy to erect 8 man tent and is brand NEW for the 2008 season. 

 

Outdoor Revolution has taken a great deal of care in designing this 8 man tent. Like the Starcamper 4, the Starcamper 8 has a brand new colourway featuring Black and Mercury. The classic design gives the sought after space that large families or groups need when touring or weekending.

 

The Starcamper 8 is much larger than the Starcamper 4 which lends itself perfectly for large groups.

 

Internally and unlike many other 8 person tents, the groundsheet is sewn in and the sleeping area is generous in size with 2 x 4 layout.

 

When touring for long periods, one of these sleeping compartments lends itself perfectly as a storage section leaving the other just as a sleeping area.

 

Again as part of the design, each pegging point is reinforced for strength and longevity and access is gained through 2 doors, left and right of the living area.

How Strong is it?

 

Each pole is made from pre-bent steel Fibreglass, which gives great strength and allows for plenty of headroom.  Not only that, this design is much more stable and very easy to erect.

 

How easy is the Starcamper to erect and take down? 

 

The Starcamper 8 fits on any pitch and is easy to erect. The poles are colour coded and the pole sleeves are short making it very easy to put up. Supplied as part of the kit is an easy fit bag for quick pack up. 

What is the tent made of? 

 

Outdoor Revolution has made this 8 man tent using the same material they developed for their Caravan Awnings. The tent itself is made from  RevTex 3000 which is a fully waterproof yet breathable fabric. Internally, the inner is also made from a breathable material which reduces sweating.

 

The Starcamper 8 is from the same family of tents as the Starcamper 3 which won the prestigious Guardian Newspapers Camping supplement Award in 2007.
