Starcamper 6 is a lightweight, easy to erect 6 man tent that has and has a brand new design for the 2009 season. 

 

Outdoor Revolution has taken a great deal of care in designing this 6 man tent. Like the Starcamper 4, the Starcamper 6 has a vis-a-vis look in black and silver that makes it practical yet spacious to use and has many features that are normally reserved for more expensive technically designed tents. The new design gives the sought after space that most families strive to achieve when looking for a new 6 man tent.

 

The Starcamper 6 is much larger than the Starcamper 4 and has a suprisingly small footprint despite having a very large central living area.

 

Internally and unlike many other 6 person tents, the groundsheet is sewen in and the sleeping area is divided into 2 seperate bedrooms with the option of removing the 2 person inner tent to create a huge 4 person family tent with plenty of indoor space.

 

Again as part of the design, each pegging point is reinforced for strength and longevity and with canopy front and side doors and 2 side bedrooms, you can't want for any more from such a great value tent.

How Strong is it?

 

Each pole is made from pre-bent steel Fibreglass which gives great strength and allows for plenty of headroom. 

 

How easy is the Starcamper to erect and take down? 

 

The Starcamper 6 fits on any pitch and is easy to erect. The poles are colour coded and the pole sleeves are short making it very easy to put up. Supplied as part of the kit is an easy fit bag for quick pack up. 

What is the tent made of? 

 

Outdoor Revolution has made this 6 man tent using the same material they developed for their Caravan Awnings. The tent itself is made from  RevTex 3000 which is a fully waterproof yet breathable fabric. Internally, the inner is also made from a breathable material which reduces sweating.

 

The Starcamper 6 is from the same family of tents as the Starcamper 3 which won the prestigious Guardian Newspapers Camping supplement Award in 2007.
